Meeting Details:
- Introduction to the club activities – Volunteering requirements (Semin)
JW House – music service (Sunday 6-7pm, 2 volunteer hours)
Dining service (every 3rd week only)
Homework center – Tuesday/Wednesday (2:30pm) or Saturday bible study
- Volunteer sign-up: on-line sheet (cancellation should be done at least 1 day prior to the scheduled day)
- Benefit concert results sharing
Total fund raised – $9800 ($6300 – donated to UNICEF, $3500 donated to Emmanuel Church)
UNICEF representative – They will use the money for the hurricane and earthquake victims (cholera treatment, vaccination, education, water purification).
- Emmanuel Church pastor – The church is raising fund for Haiti mission
- Church members go to Haiti to help
- Built an orphanage
- Fight with cholera prevalent after hurricane
- Asked club members’ cooperation for the cause in Christian love
- On-going club meeting schedule:
1st Saturday each month, 6 – 6:30pm at the World Mission Baptist Church
- Explanation about President Award (JaeHoon)
- Photo time with all club members and the reps from UNICEF and Emmanuel church
