High school students

Entry Limit

Up to two posters per student.

June 11(Sun), 2023

Winner

One winner will be chosen by a panel of HopeBox judges and posted on the website by June 14(Wed), 2023.

$100 Scholarship will be awarded.

The winning design will be used to advertise the concert on the newspaper, website, social media, posters, and flyers throughout the community. The HopeBox will assume full ownership of the content.

[Poster Requirments]

Copy

Poster designs should contain:

1. Logos of HopeBox and sponsors (Please show who is the host and who are the sponsors by writing in sentences “Hosted by [HopeBox logo]” and “Sponsored by [sponsor logos]”

2. Contents: 

          – Title: 12th annual benefit concert by HopeBox Charity Youth Orchestra

          – Concert time & date: 8/13/2023 (Sun), 5:00 PM

          – Venue: McAfee Performing Center (20300 Herriman Ave, Saratoga, CA 95070)

          – Conductor: Dr. Joseph Kim

          – Repertoires: 

              Coriolan Overture – L.V. Beethoven

              Adagietto from Symphony no.5 – Gustav Mahler

              Symphony no.3 – Johannes Brahms         

          – Beneficiaries:  Sunday Friends, JW House, and MISSIO

         – Tickets: $10 donation is suggested

Media

Any mixed media suitable for reproduction as a poster is allowed, including computer-generated graphics. Posters must be two-dimensional. All posters must be original art. No trademarked or copyrighted images or phrases should be used, with the exception of the provided logos, if applicable.
